FIG AND BRIE PIZZA

SERVINGS: 1 PIZZA
PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES
COOKING TIME: 15 MINUTES
TOTAL TIME: 25 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 store-bought or homemade pizza crust

  • 3 figs (sliced)

  • 1 cup of mozzarella (shredded)

  • 6 oz. of brie (sliced)

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar

  • A pinch of salt

  • Red pepper for seasoning

  • Honey for topping

  • Goat cheese for topping

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prep

Preheat your oven or pizza oven based on the baking instructions for your pizza dough.

  2. Dress and Bake the Pizza Dough

Start by covering the pizza crust in a thin layer of mozzarella cheese. Then add slices of brie cheese and fig to the pizza. Now, put the pizza in the oven and bake for as long as the instructions for your pizza dough indicate.

  3. Prepare the Arugula Salad

While the pizza is in the oven, mix, in a bowl or dressing shaker, the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt. In a large bowl, massage the arugula to soften the leaves. Add the dressing to the bowl and toss until every leaf is coated.

  4. Finish the Pizza

Once the pizza is ready, remove it from the oven and top it with arugula, a drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkle of red pepper, and crumbled goat cheese.

  5. Serve and Enjoy!
